Our Objectives How You Can Help Us
In the 2003 provincial election, we tripled our vote from the last provincial election to 6.6%. And the 2005 federal election saw our percentage of the popular vote rise past 8% for the first time as we continue our steady progress towards the goal of electing Canada's first Green M.P. or M.P.P from Kingston & the Islands.

During the last several elections, your support allowed us, for the first time, to afford the increased visibility of major print ads, radio ads, a Canada Post mailout, a television campaign, and a campaign office for the duration of the election.

Your contributions play a critical part in our overall success; the Green Party is supported solely at the grassroots level.

There are many ways you can support the Kingston Greens and our mission. You can donate money, time, and/or your expertise. By joining the Green Party you will become a member of Canada's fastest growing political party. And once a member, you will have the opportunity to subscribe to our emailing list and receive our weekly newsletter, Green Light Kingston. By staying connected you will find many opportunities to share your skills with us.

The Benefits of Donating - Tax Credits

The tax credits available for donations to a political party are very generous. For example, everyone receives 75% back for a donation up to $400. If you like the work we do, please consider supporting our cause with a monetary donation.

Think of it: Dalton McGuinty or Paul Martin help you promote green policies by giving you back 75% of the money you would have paid to his government to ignore them!
